Emilio Yepez founded Lighthouse Internet Media in Coral Gables in February 2006 and has worked in digital marketing, ecommerce and operations for more than 21 years. He is a contributing author to Internet Marketing From The Real Experts (Morgan James Publishing, 2010), served as Director of Ecommerce for Navarro Discount Pharmacy and spent over a decade supporting Hyatt and Marriott resort accounts at IAC / Interval International.
He works in English and Spanish and has limited working proficiency in Italian.
Emilio joined IAC / Interval International in July 1996 and spent over a decade there, progressing from operations and customer service into a Divisional Manager role supporting Hyatt and Marriott Resorts accounts. Interval International named him Club Excellence Employee of the Year in 2005. During this period, he completed an Associate’s degree in Business while working full time.
In February 2006, Emilio co-founded ARC Media Consultants, a digital marketing firm, and served as Vice President of Operations, Business Development and Digital Marketing through January 2010. This work overlapped with the founding period of Lighthouse Internet Media and should be understood as part of the same entrepreneurial chapter.
Emilio founded Lighthouse Internet Media in Coral Gables in February 2006. Today, the company is a 12-person team covering web design, development, search, paid media, social media, video production and AI systems across its Growth and Technology divisions. Emilio remains involved in strategy, client fit, budgeting and major account decisions.
In winter 2010, MBF Health Care Partners recruited Emilio to support strategic planning, capitalization, digital strategy and business interests across the Coral Gables private-equity firm’s portfolio.
From March 2010 through December 2011, Emilio served as Consultant and Director of Ecommerce for Navarro Discount Pharmacy, the Miami-based pharmacy chain, leading ecommerce operations and digital planning.
Emilio also founded Alpha Lions Group, an independent US investment consultancy that acquires and manages equity interests in startups, established businesses and pre-IPO companies, working alongside management through growth, acquisition or sale.
Emilio is a contributing author to Internet Marketing From The Real Experts: 3 Minute Lessons On Affiliate Marketing, Email Marketing, Search Engine Optimization, Social Media and Much More (Morgan James Publishing, 2010).
