Emilio Yepez founded Lighthouse Internet Media in Coral Gables in February 2006. Twenty years later it is a twelve-person team working from one office on Ponce De Leon Boulevard — designers, developers, a social media manager, project managers and two full-time video specialists.
We work with businesses across Miami, Coral Gables and South Florida, in English and Spanish. Everything is done in-house. When you hire us you are hiring the people who do the work, and you will know their names — they are all below.
The company runs as two divisions. Growth covers SEO, local search, paid advertising, content, email, social and GEO. Technology covers design, web development, custom programming and AI systems. Most engagements draw on both, which is the point — an SEO plan your developer says is impossible is not a plan.
SEO, local search, paid advertising, content, email, social and GEO.
Design, web development, custom programming and AI systems.
Two things we do differently, and you can hold us to both.
Rankings and traffic go in the report because they are diagnostic. What we ask you to judge us on is qualified inquiries and what they cost. If traffic is up and inquiries are flat, the report says so.
Frequently it is the intake — calls not answered inside business hours, forms landing in an inbox nobody watches, follow-up taking three days. No amount of visibility fixes that, and pretending otherwise wastes your budget and our time.
Paid advertising produces inquiries next week; everything else takes months. If the budget only covers one and you need cash flow now, we will tell you to spend it on ads rather than on us.
We can learn your business but we cannot be an expert in it. The engagements that underperform are the ones where our questions go unanswered for weeks.
Nobody can promise one. Google does not sell placement and results move daily. Any agency guaranteeing a position is either working an uncompetitive niche or misleading you.
Behind every successful project is a team of strategists, developers, designers, project managers, content specialists, and digital marketing professionals committed to delivering exceptional results.
Emilio has worked in digital marketing, ecommerce and operations for over 21 years. Before Lighthouse he spent a decade at IAC / Interval International running the Hyatt and Marriott resort accounts, later led ecommerce for Navarro Discount Pharmacy, and was brought in by MBF Health Care Partners to lead digital strategy across its portfolio. He is a contributing author to Internet Marketing From The Real Experts (Morgan James Publishing, 2010). He works in English and Spanish, graduated from Coral Gables High School in 1994, and runs the company from a few miles away. He is on your monthly call.
Amir writes the code behind Lighthouse builds — WordPress development, custom functionality, and the performance work that gets a site through Core Web Vitals. If your site has a technical problem, Amir is who fixes it.
Julian handles the harder builds: integrations with the systems a client already runs, custom functionality that does not come out of a plugin, and the architecture decisions that determine whether a site is still maintainable in three years.
Paulina keeps projects moving — deadlines, who owes what to whom, and chasing the assets that hold a launch up. Most late projects are late for a content reason, and Paulina is the reason ours usually are not.
Gina plans, writes and publishes client social content, and answers the comments and DMs it generates. Not scheduled and forgotten — a person reads and replies.
Andrew designs and then builds, which means fewer things get lost between the two. Layouts that look right in the mock-up and still work at 375 pixels wide.
Roksana handles search optimization and writes the content that supports it — practice-area and service pages, on-page work, and the structured data behind them. She also manages the digital platforms and workflow the rest of the team runs on, which is why our own audits get done rather than postponed.
Imran works on visual design and user interface — the part that decides whether a visitor trusts a site in the first three seconds. Balances brand presentation against the practical need for a page to convert.
Janyer runs web projects end to end: scope, schedule, quality checks, and being the single person a client can ask “where is this?” and get a real answer.
Magdiel is usually the first conversation. His job on that call is to work out whether we are a fit — including saying we are not, which happens and is fine.
Lorenzo shoots on location and edits. Strong eye for setting, movement and branded content — and he is in-house, so the person filming is the person cutting it.
Jorge handles brand storytelling on camera — the interviews, the narrative structure, and the composition that makes a two-minute video hold attention. Between him and Lorenzo, video never leaves the building.
We have worked with businesses across home services, legal, HVAC, home inspection, industrial, healthcare and e-commerce since 2006. Legal clients include Dapenal Law and PWD Law. The wider list is on our clients page.
How we actually work. Everything is produced in this office. We do not subcontract design or development offshore and re-label it, which is why you can meet the person who built your site.
Nothing publishes without your approval. Copy, designs, ad creative — you see it first, every time.
You own everything. Every website, every asset, every account. We work inside your Google Business Profile, Search Console, Analytics and ad accounts rather than creating our own, so if the relationship ends you keep the history along with the files. Nothing is held hostage.
We work in English and Spanish. In this county that is not a feature, it is a requirement.
